The working principle of the filling machine

I. The Working Process of the Filling Machine

After the washing machine cleans the inside and outside of the bottles and checks that the quality is合格, the bottles are sent by the conveyor belt into the limit mechanism of the automatic filling machine. According to the specified requirements, they are arranged at a certain distance and sent to the bottle sorting wheel. The bottle sorting wheel accurately sends the bottles to the bottle lifting mechanism. The lifting mechanism lifts the lifting piston, and the bottle rises accordingly. Thus, the bottle mouth opens the filling valve's air port, fills with air under isobaric pressure, and then opens the liquid port to conduct liquid filling. After liquid filling, the pressure is released, and then the liquid and air ports are closed. After the filling process is completed, the bottle lifting mechanism immediately enters the descent slide channel. Under the action of the descent slide channel, the piston cylinder of the lifting mechanism is forced to descend by the slide channel, so the filled bottles descend to the lowest position. After turning a certain angle, the bottle enters the bottle sorting mechanism, is withdrawn by the bottle sorting mechanism, and sent for the upper cover. Thus, the entire filling process of one working cycle is completed. 


II. Transmission Principle of the Filling Machine

For rotary-type automatic filling machines, the power source is always an electric motor, with the power generally ranging from 1 to 3 kilowatts. The rotational speed of the electric motor is usually very high, while the rotational speed of the filling machine is only a few revolutions per minute, which cannot meet the requirements of the filling process. Therefore, a reasonable speed-changing system is needed for its transmission. 

Some filling machines also use variable-speed motors that can achieve stepless speed adjustment. However, this type of transmission system has very high requirements for the motor, which must be dust-proof, water-proof, etc., and it is also relatively expensive. 

The requirements for the transmission part of the rotary filling machine are as follows: 


1.The transmission is smooth. 

Since the main machine performs the filling task on a wine tank, its accurate bottle insertion and extraction, as well as precise filling, all require to be carried out under stable working conditions. 


2. The transmission system has a simple structure. 

The transmission system is simple. On the one hand, it can reduce power consumption. On the other hand, the precision of the equipment can be easily achieved, and maintenance is also convenient. 


3. Safety devices 

The common problem with rotary filling machines is that the bottles often get stuck. When designing, safety devices should be considered. In case of machine failure, it should be able to automatically stop or give an automatic alarm, so as to promptly resolve the fault. 

In order to meet the frequent changing demands of the manufacturer for the filling products of our factory, fully utilize the potential of the equipment, achieve multi-purpose use of the machine, and enhance the adaptability of the equipment, the speed of the filling machine should be able to be changed (adjusted) to meet the requirements. 

Furthermore, when designing the transmission system, consideration is given to the ease of installation, debugging and maintenance, and it must meet the ergonomic requirements to provide convenience for workers. The maintenance time should be shortened as much as possible, and it should be easy to maintain and repair.
